Secrets to Success on Instagram
Secrets to Success on Instagram
1. PROFILE
First impression is always important.
Therefore, if you are not going to use your own name, a catchy name, a nice / handsome profile photo :), a few lines of information about yourself and a link to your website, if you want, or a facebook profile if you wish, a good profile is a must.
If your goal is to grow your instagram account, do not hide your account. Nobody wants to follow an account that their content does not know.
2. CONTENT
"Content is king!" Said Bill Gates in 1996. He didn't say it in vain :)
With millions of users on Instagram, why would people follow you?
Good photography is not enough, you have to share "VERY GOOD" photos.
Let your primary preference be vertical when uploading your photos. Since the screen of smartphones is vertical, your photo will fill the entire screen and look more effective. If you cannot put it vertically, put a square photo. Never put a horizontal photo.
Do not use frames in your photos. Don't use Instagram's ready filters either. Instagram's photo editing menu gives you much more freedom.
It is not enough for your photos to be "very good" alone. Choose photos that are compatible with each other. Don't share a landscape, a day of people, another day of food photography. Instead of stealing from the wire with each photo, you have a specific target audience; for example, just share great landscape photos or just great people photos or just great food photos.
The caption under the photograph, as the foreigners say "caption" :) is also important. Take care when writing this. If the photo has a story, feel free to write it. We all love stories.
3. # LABELING (#HASHTAG)
Use #tags # for each # photo # or # video # you share. But not like this :)
Tags are important. Tags make it easier to find the photos or videos you share. For example, if you shared a photo of the Maiden's Tower, use a few tags along with your photo caption (Instagram allows up to 30 tags.
Avoid using very popular tags when using tags. For example, did you share a photo with your child? If you use # mother and # child tags as your tag, your photo will be lost between hundreds of thousands of # mother and # child tagged photos. Instead, it would be better to use tags like # awsomeanny # superbchild # maternityfruit.
Adding a location to your photos will also increase the availability of the photo you share.
4. CONTINUITY
Do not share 5 photos a day and spend 2 weeks after that empty. Get your posts organized: 1 photo every day, 1 photo every 2 days. This is entirely up to you.
A little tip: Share more photos on weekends. We all spend more time with our phone on the weekends.
5. INTERACTION
We kept the most important to the end.
Even if you are doing all of the above, literally, if you do not interact with other Instagram users, your number of followers will increase to some extent.
Did a user comment on your post? Be sure to answer your comment, take a look at that person's profile, like a few photos, comment on your favorite photo. Act without waiting for someone to like or comment on your photo. Like and comment is free :)
If you see a photo you like very much, share it on your own profile by tagging the owner of the photo.
Just spend half an hour a day interacting. You will see many benefits.
